Just had a thought that made me like Ten II a lot more.
I used to kind of resent him because he’s not the doctor and i’m still not convinced that rose is 10/10 100% happy with him. I still believe a part of her really misses the actual doctor.
BUT
This is what Ten II means:
Somewhere out…
Then I remember the episode Reunion. Where Rose freaked out because the Doctor had never even mentioned Sarah Jane Smith to her. Never even said her name before. That was her biggest fear: that the Doctor would someday not think about her. And then, she meets Martha and the first thing she hears is “Oh my god. He found you.”
Imagine that. Imagine if the first time you met someone, they immediately say “Oh my god. It’s you. Finally.”
In that moment, she knows how broken the Doctor was when they got separated. How even his future companions knew how utterly destroyed he was. Because he does not wear his emotions on his sleeve. He buries his pain. And for Martha and Donna to know how hurt he was. Well that’s a big deal.
Honestly though, if Billie Piper & David Tennant don’t realize their true love for each other when they are reunited then I don’t even know what I will do.
God they were perfect together….
We were strangers starting out on a journey,
Never dreaming what we’d have to go through.
Now here we are, and I’m suddenly standing

Matt Smith to star in Ryan Gosling pic
via Variety:
“Doctor Who” star Matt Smith is ready to cross the Atlantic to make his U.S. acting debut, taking the male lead in the Ryan Gosling-directed pic “How to Catch a Monster.”
Pic currently stars Christina Hendricks and Eva Mendes, and will mark Gosling’s directing debut.
Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will produce on behalf of Marc Platt Prods., along with Gosling via his Phantasma Films banner, and Michel Litvak and David Lancaster via the Bold Films banner.
Story is set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Production is set to start this spring.
The UTA and Troika-epped Smith has starred in a handful of BBC and British productions but never a stateside movie.
His third season of playing the Doctor recently wrapped and he also recently directed the short film “Cargese” for Sky Arts series Playhouse Presents.
